Nutrition is so important for pregnant and nursing mothers, postpartum women, infants, and small children. It is during these life stages that access to healthy food is needed most. That is why CEO offers the WIC program. WIC offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and access to healthy food. For National Nutrition Month this March, WIC is offering a few community programs to help educate the community on nutrition. Join us at the WIC offices in the Community Resource Center on 2328 Fifth Ave in Troy.

  • March 1st:  the WIC staff will be doing a healthy food demo showing how to make a breakfast banana split
  • March 22nd: Kelsey from the health department is coming in at 1:30pm
  • March 26th: Cornell Cooperative Extension (Felisha Chandler) is coming from at 2:30pm to do a healthy food demo
