Virtual Fill the Truck

Community Action Month is coming up in May, and typically CEO would be planning a variety of activities across Rensselaer County to help benefit the larger community. The cornerstone of the month has been our Fill the Truck event for the last few years. We ask the community to help us stock our Food Pantry with the things our grants do not cover: personal hygiene items, cleaning products, laundry detergent, and paper products. The community has been incredibly generous over the last few years, and we’ve been able to rely on that May drive to last us through the rest of the year and into the next. With the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will not be able to operate this drive as usual in May.

Instead we are hoping the community will join us virtually to help Fill the Truck and stock our Food Pantry.

From now until May 30th, we are asking folks to purchase items from our Amazon Wishlist and have them shipped directly to our Community Resource Center, 2328 Fifth Avenue, Troy NY 12180. As the final step in the purchasing process, you will want to choose “Erin Bradley’s Gift Registry Address” as your shipping destination.

Alternately folks are welcome to make a donation as well, and can do so through our online portal.

We thank you for your support!
